In this Samsung AI commercial, no AI was used during the actual shoot itself.
All transitions were created the old-school way — physically, with stage mechanics and practical effects.
However, the road to getting there was heavily supported by modern digital tools:
The sets were first developed through prompts and moodboards, then built in 3D using Maya, and later visualized with Twinmotion and Unreal Engine.
Using the Advanced Camera Tools inside Unreal Engine, we were able to virtually scout and evaluate the entire build beforehand, while also exploring the sets in VR simultaneously.
Every tool available was used to make the construction process as efficient and cost-effective as possible.
We are proud to have realized a build of this scale in Berlin.
A huge thank you to Micky Suelzer, Zauberberg Produktion and Studio Alibi for making this incredible project possible.
