On this amazing project, I developed the set together with the director, Julian.

Our goal was to create a world that reflected the product itself: the first whisky that is completely crystal clear. At the same time, the environment needed to feel highly luxurious and premium, as we were shooting with a celebrity under a very limited time schedule.

To make this possible, we created the entire previs in Twinmotion and Unreal Engine. All camera moves, lighting setups, and spatial decisions were developed digitally in advance.

I began by generating a wide range of prompts to explore the visual direction. Once we found the right style, I started building the set in Maya and continued the previs work in Twinmotion.

We then built the full set on stage in Nice, France. Everything was constructed physically, including hundreds of custom-cut triangles that became a key design feature. To create additional depth and scale, we decided to integrate an LED wall. Using our Twinmotion model as a base, the 3D team then created the final background environments for the LED content.

It was a super fun project that combined many of today’s creative tools and workflows — from prompting and concept design, to 3D modeling, previs, and finally building the set for real on stage.
